ICC International Conference on Integrity & Anti-corruption, 8 December 2017, Peace Palace, The Hague

We live in a world where ‘the goal justifies the means’ has become an acceptable school of thought for far too many. A world where integrity isn’t talked about nearly enough.

Reason for ICC Netherlands to take the initiative to organise a high-level International Conference on Integrity and Anti-Corruption at the Peace Palace, bringing together academics, experts from the public and private sector and NGOs to discuss current matters, raise awareness and promote ethical behaviour in both the workplace and in the boardroom.

Join us in the debate where academics, executives and integrity experts from around the globe discuss ‘The Integrity Advantage’ and ‘Collective Action’, with an emphasis on concrete action, the importance of cooperation and the ‘business case’ of integrity.

This conference is the closing conference of the Netherlands' Week of Integrity, a local initiative fostering public-private cooperation in the field of integrity and anti-corruption.

We are delighted to be able to welcome, amongst others, the following speakers:

  • Mrs. Emily O'Reilly, European OmbudsmanMrs. Sonila Qato, Minister of State for the Protection of Enterprise (Albania)

  • Mr. Jan Hommen, former CEO KPMG and former CEO ING Bank

  • Mr. Roel Nieuwenkamp, Chairman of the OECD Working group on Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Prof. Mark Pieth, Co-founder and director, Basel Institute on Governance (Switzerland)

  • Mr. Iohann Le Frapper, Vice-chair, ICC Commission on CR & Anti-corruption and Group General Counsel, Pierre Fabre (moderator) (France)

  • Mr. Richard Bistrong, CEO, Front-Line Anti-Bribery LLC and Former FCPA violator, FBI / UK co-operator (USA)

In the afternoon there is a range of eight interactive breakout sessions on 'The Integrity Advantage' and on 'Collective Action'.

The number of participants at the conference on 8 December is limited. Participation is free of charge; registration is required, no later than 1 December 2017. A no show fee is applicable. Timely registration is recommended.
Partners of the Week of Integrity, foreign guests and ICC Members are given priority, while in the light of fostering cooperation, public parties, NGO's and academics are encouraged to participate. For further details on the programme and registration, please go to www.weekofintegrity.nl/conference

We look forward to welcoming you on 8 December.
